We got a bunch of requests for this one, so we finally decided to give it a shot! 😂

Designing models based on real people is definitely outside of our comfort zone. Capturing someone’s likeness while still making the model work as a 3D print is a completely different challenge, but Dolly is such an icon that we really wanted to try. 💗

And after a whole lot of tweaking, testing, and probably listening to more Dolly than we’d like to admit… she’s finally ready!

💗 TWO VERSIONS INCLUDED

We wanted to give you a couple different ways to print and display her, so this release includes:

🎤 Flexi Version — Our articulated version for those who want a little movement.

⭐ Statue Version — A traditional solid display version perfect for the shelf.

🎨 TWO COLOR OPTIONS

We’ve also included two different paint setups so you can choose how detailed you want to go:

🩷 4-Color Version — A simpler option for printers with fewer AMS slots or anyone looking for an easier print.

✨ 6-Color Version — The full-detail version for those who want to bring out more of Dolly’s features.

🌳 YES… SHE NEEDS SUPPORTS!

You guys know how much we normally try to design our models to be support-free or use as little support as possible.

We tried. We REALLY tried. 😂

But the more we changed the model to eliminate supports, the less and less she looked like the great Dolly Parton.

At some point we had to choose between making the easiest print possible and preserving the details and likeness that made the character recognizable.

We chose Dolly. 😂💗

So this one is definitely a little more support-heavy than our normal releases, but after seeing the finished print, we believe it was absolutely worth it.

• Supports: Yes — Auto Tree Supports

As always, we recommend reviewing your sliced preview before starting your print, especially with this model since it does require more supports than our typical releases.

For the models pictured, we used:

🖤 Inland Matte PLA – Black
🩷 Inland Matte PLA – Pink
🌸 Inland Matte PLA – Light Pink
💛 Inland Matte PLA – Yellow (6-Color Version)
🩵 Inland Matte PLA – Light Blue (6-Color Version)

Of course, these are just the colors we used. Feel free to mix things up and give your Dolly tribute your own style! 🎨✨

⚠️ BAMBU STUDIO NOTICE

In newer versions of Bambu Studio, the slicer may display a warning that the model contains non-manifold edges/errors. Please ignore this warning. We have tested the file and it is definitely printable. The warning does not prevent the model from slicing or printing correctly.
